Magic Hat To Host 4th Annual Oktoberfeast Next Saturday!
Did you know that September is Hunger Action Month in Vermont and that 1 in 4 people struggle with hunger in our community? Vermont’s largest anti-hunger organization, The Vermont Foodbank serves 153,000 Vermonters – that’s 1 in 4 of our neighbors. Hunger Action Month is your opportunity to join a movement that has a real and lasting impact on our neighbors in need.
In honor of Hunger Action Month, the Magic Hat Brewing Company is hosting their 4th annual Oktoberfeast to benefit the Vermont Foodbank, to help those people in need. The event will be taking place at the Magic Hat brewery, on Saturday, October 3rd from
12-5pm. This event is a feast in honor of the VT Foodbank, that will feature 15 different Vermont food purveyors that will be sampling and selling their goods in a farmers’ market style setting. Patrons can enjoy samples from all the vendors, as well as purchase your favorite items to bring home with you!
There is a $5 entry fee to the event. Once inside, you’ll be able to enjoy live music all day from local singer/songwriter Lowell Thompson. There will also be an outdoor beer garden, where you can enjoy Magic Hat brews including a very special beer release. Want a tour of the brewery? They will be offering tours throughout the day as well.
