Magners Irish Cider is a brand of hard cider produced in Ireland by the C&C Group. The cider was originally produced and called “Bulmers” and continues to be sold under that name in Ireland, even though the product is no longer owned by H.P. Bulmer. Magners carries a variety of cider types including Original, Light, Pear and Berry. Magners uses a system called a cheese press, where the cloudy apple juice pours like nectar. They also use 17 different apple varieties and they let their cider ferment and mature for up to 2 years before bottling it. Magners is available in 12 & 19.2oz bottles. 16.9oz cans as well as ⅙ & ½ barrel kegs. Magners ciders are 4.5% alcohol by volume.
