Have you had the pleasure of visiting Goodwater Brewery? If not, do yourself a favor, rally your friends and check this place out! Located at 740 Marshall Ave in Williston, Vermont, this brewery has everything you need: Amazing locally crafted beer, friendly staff, a cozy atmosphere, snacks, and air conditioning! What more could you possibly want?
We had the pleasure of chatting with co-owner Chris Capetz (pictured below), one Friday afternoon, to take photos of their amazing new space, and tour the brewery. Upon greeting us, we were immediately handed a beer, now that’s service!
Chris handed Topher, Goodwater’s “InspiRED” (Irish Red Ale), a slightly malty, balanced beer, that’s clean, smooth and has moderate carbonation. I opted for the sampler which includes their four beers: The Proper Mild – a classic English style ale, Sweet Winter Brown – a medium bodied brown ale, InspiRED – the easy drinking Irish style red ale & the Hoppy Side of Pale – a smooth drinking full bodied pale ale.
All of Goodwater’s beers are fantastic! It was really hard to choose a favorite. But there was just something so fresh and delicious about that Proper Mild, I couldn’t resist getting a pint for myself. Just look at that beer…!
I paired my Proper Mild with a Goodwater housemade pretzel that also happens to have their logo incorporated into the design. How cool is that?
After we enjoyed our beers, Chris took us on a tour of the brewery.
We love how you can see inside of the brewery from the bar.
