Oktoberfest Vermont will take place this fall, during the last week of September at the Waterfront Park in Burlington. This first-annual event is a Bavarian themed weekend-long festival that offers local food, a live performing 6 piece professional Bavarian Orchestra, contests and games, German-style decor and of course, beer!

This weekend-long gathering will feature over 40 breweries on premise, including Hop N’ Moose Brewing, Magic Hat Brewing Company, Otter Creek Brewing Company, Sam Adams, The Shed Brewery, Switchback Brewing Company, Traveler Beer Co., and Woodchuck Cider, just to name a few.

This event will also feature local food vendors highlighting authentic German eats as well as a wide variety of other culinary delights. Enjoy tasty treats from Bluebird Barbecue, where they will offer Bavarian inspired BBQ. Myer’s Bagels will also be on site, providing you with a voucher for a FREE Myer’s product. If you’re not familiar with Myer’s famous wood fired bagels, do yourself a favor and head to their shop on 377 Pine Street in Burlington and indulge in their tasty Montreal-style bagels. Last but not least, Kountry Kart Deli, which is known as Burlington’s favorite deli, will be making a German-themed version of their famous “Rise and Shiner” for you to indulge in.

Now that you’ve got your favorite Vermont beer in one hand, and your German-inspired food item in the other, it’s time to boogie! Oktoberfest Vermont will feature The Jolly Kopperschmidts German Band, a 6-piece talented Bavarian Orchestra that is fully equipped with a trombone, flutes, trumpets, accordion, drums and a tuba. Enjoy the sounds of New England’s best Bavarian music crew! Let’s raise a glass and get ready to Oompah!
